「Smeared Canvas (YM2608 FM Remix)」 from Splatoon 3

This song, which plays in one of the late-game Splatoon 3 story mode stages, is probably one of the most underrated in the game. I really like the harmony in the melody and the way the overall track is essentially a genre mashup. Sounds like it could fit really well even in the main turf war mode... hopefully one day, they'll add it!

MY MAN. MY DUDE. MY TOT. It is amazing how far you've come since the beginnings of your channel. Hand-typing every single note into this sounds incredibly tedious but it's so impressive, especially when considering how much is going on in this tune. This came out sounding great, imo one of your best chiptune covers yet. Looking forward to more YM2608 covers from you 👀 Also love the new visuals! The pixel art is gorgeous, and the new thumbnail looks phenomenal. Super clean stuff -- both visually and audio-wise.

Definitely recommend! Although quick note, some of the RUclips uploads of this song accidentally mix both ingame versions at the same time (there's 2 different drumbeats/background synths). The version by GoldeSwordsman sounds correct to me.

Great stuff, not entirely sure what OPNA is but the remix gave this song a really nice punch. Also MML seems like a really interesting way of making music, thanks for adding some extra info about it in the description.
Good point! OPNA is just the name of the YM2608 soundchip. I might switch to calling it "YM2608 remix" instead if more people recognize that. Funny enough, the PC88 is an 8bit computer, so this is technically an 8bit remix :P
